  17. <p>     Fifteen months of creative labor have finally paid off for
  18. Marilyn Quayle and her elder sister Nancy Northcott. Last week
  19. the Crown Publishing Group bought their novel, The Rage of the
  20. Lamb, which the siblings wrote via long-distance collaboration.
  21. Quayle and Northcott, who lives in Tennessee, exchanged their
  22. work through the mail on computer disks, each one editing the
  23. other's writing. The plot: Cuba's Fidel Castro dies, and the
  24. U.S. and the Soviet Union seek to take advantage of the
  25. situation. But a U.S. Senator, the book's hero, discovers
  26. deception in both governments.
